Overview:
Utah canyoneering offers a physically action packed day of hiking, scrambling and rappelling through ancient canyons carved out by time. Take advantage of being an Electric Honey participant and get 20% off the normal pricing!
This trips offers an exciting way to see one of Moab's less explored paths while getting you moving in every direction and is great for adventure seekers looking for an fun day of rappelling and rock scrambling. The trip starts with roped scrambling up to the beautiful Cable Arch and beyond, with beautiful views of the river corridor, La Sal Mountains and stunning desert terrain. From there the group will encounter 2 rappels up to 120 ft, with free hanging sections of exposure. The second rappel takes you into a small slot canyon and navigates you back to the start!
Details of trip:
You will meet your guide at the cable arch parking lot, located on Kane Creek rd, 15 minutes from the venue. There your guides will get you outfitted with harnesses, helmets and rappel devices. Total time of travel trailhead to trailhead will take anywhere from 3-4 hours to navigate, depending on the group.
Requirements:
Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
Participants must be deemed physically able to hike, climb and rappel.
All participants will be required to sign an Assumption of risk and liability waiver.
